I can agree with your figures there, however the reasons for why people like old tractors and farm equipment is as vary and indivual as the tractors themselves. Just like anything old, the fact it survived is a testament of it's durability. It's all relavtive. I never lived on a farm or drove any tractors, but am now restoring my grandfather's Super AV. If he had a model T and was given to me, I'd restore it as well. It's not about the money (or we'd not have any cars, trucks, or anything older than 20 years), it's about preserving our past. I'm sure not going to sell this tractor, it's like a family heirloom, to be passed from one generation to another. The rest of your post is just pure "BS".
