I'm almost embarrassed to ask this question but after spending all day trying to adjust the carb float on my Super C, here goes. I just bought it last week so I have no history with it. It was leaking gas out the carb when it wasn't running and I could tell it was getting too much gas even when it was running. It would start to stall and I would turn off the sediment bowl gas valve, then it would smooth out until it needed more gas. I bought a carb rebuild kit at Napa, soaked the carb in cleaner, and put it back together. I can't seem to find the ideal setting for the float. It either lets too much gas in or not enough. I know this sounds simple but after taking it apart about a thousand times today I'm ready to use it for a football! Any ideas?
