I took my carb apart so many times that I thought about putting a zipper on it. If you have an IT service manual it will show you the height of the fuel in the bowl. A tip I learned from someone on this web site is to remove the drain plug and screw in a brass nipple with barbed tubing connector, plug in a clear tube, turn it up and now you will be able to actually see where the fuel level is in the bowl kinda like those coffee pots with the glass tube on the side. If you dont have a manual, it appears that the fuel level is the same as the pin that the float pivets on.
