John...that was great..I had toread twice as my bearings (both inner and outer came right out)..I think the problem was that the inner bearing and race came out but the seal on the shaft stayed put. I took off the dust shield and looked around for how to get the inner seal off. Is this seal a press fit..and I can just hammer it off? The thing is shot. I Tried to pry it off behind the felt seal but all that did was distort the metal lip. Also it appears that the bearings are different on both sides of bolster..although I could be wrong since the damaged one is pretty beaten up. Also I'm not familiar with Carter and Grunwald. Do you have a web site or phone number. I would really like to see the exploded view as the International Parts book really doesn't show how the seal goes on.. Thanks alot for your help
