Just for info I bought a set of those reverse bits with the easy out attached from NAPA ($50 on sale from $75) and they didn't begin to work on this size bolt (1/2 inch).They might be useful on smaller bolts. These were broken off flush. Got the first one out, of two, by drilling thru it (1/4 bit) and soaking with PB and then drilling with larger and larger bits up to 7/16 and then used a 1/2 tap to tap the hole. Looks like it will work. Will see when we put it all back together. Now for the second one.
