We don't have a muffler on the Super M, but that's cause it's easier to tarp it that way, and cheaper on mufflers too.
My Regular will probably have a muffler too for a while since the hole for it is already in the hood, and it would look really wierd empty. Once I get around to fixing the hood I'll fix the hole, and do away with the muffler.
The Reg is going to be a "working" machine, so I'll need all the power I can get, that muffler robs some.
Otherwise do what you like, if it's too loud go right ahead and muffle it, just try not to permenently alter anything so that if you want you can go back the other way.
