Farmalls in parade

Hello, I catch alot of hell from old-timers when its parade time in my town....They chew me out because I have mufflers on my F-12, F-20 and W-30. I know that its not original but I use them to obviously cut down on noise...But the oldtimers say to just use the straight pipes and original angled extension on the exhaust because it looks better....Any suggestions....would be greatly appreciated.
