The 706 gas engine was also 263 cubic inches, same as 560 and 656. It was rated at a higher rpm to obtain the few extra horse power. Try to find the engine serial number this should help to determine which engine you have. Bet that 460 really runs good with that bigger engine. We have had a 560, 656 and 706 gas over the years and the 560 would have out pulled any of those tractors. The 706 was somewhat heavier and had more hydraulics, which robbed horse power.
