Red, I have lined the pointer up with the single mark, double mark and every point in between several times, and I can't find any fitting at all. I even had a friend of mine turn the engine while I inspected it with a flashlight and again while I ran my finger over the flywheel edge - nothing. Is it possible that someone replaced the flywheel with a part from a different model that did not have a grease fitting? What do you think the possible effects will be if I can't grease the pilot bearing? I'm not sure what kind of a job it would be to replace the flywheel, but to an upstart like me it seems formidable.
