Well, I can see I'm not going to be popular on this thread, but so be it. HOW LOUD DO YOU HAVE TO YELL AT THOSE OLD TIMER'S TO BE UNDERSTOOD? Unmuffled tractors may be "original" but most farmers from that era are VERY hard of hearing. I'll admit, tall stacks help some, as the noise is further from your ears, but I'm deaf enough, thank you, and I'll muffle mine. I leave it so it slips over the short stack, and I can display it in as original a condition as possible, but when I fire it up, on goes the muffler. Just my opinion, of course.
