I've had just the opposite problem...linings too short! I have a '44 H and after cleaning (Turning) the drums, .040 on one side and .035 on the other, I had to almost beat the linings onto the drums. I didn't want to take any more off the drums so thought it would just, "Run in" with use. That was three months ago and still when I push in the clutch I stop even without applying the brakes. I've double checked with the dealer and he assures me I got the right ones. It's hard to go from 4th to fifth as the tractor's ground speed slows up too quickly while shifting.//FB
