We have a 340 U and the only filter in our system that I am aware of is the one in the transmission behind the cast cover. We purchased one at our local Case IH dealer. They wern't sure which one we needed and because our tractor is 275 miles away we took 3 different filters and brought back the ones we didn't use. If the fluid is milky it needs to be replaced, takes about 12- 15 gal!
