Lance I'll walk you through positive ground settup. 1. Wire from the hot post on the starter switch to the positive post on the ampmeter. 2. Wire from the negative post on the ampmeter to the coil switch. 3. If you are still using the 6 volt coil, make sure you have a ballast resistor in the line between the coil switch and the coil. NAPA part 13 ICR. 4. If you decide on negative ground, simply swap the wires on the ampmeter. Starter will spin the same direction regardless how you ground the battery.
