First of all, are you sure it is a 956 or is it a 856? There was the 6,7,8,12,and 1456 but not a 9. Let me know. Otherwise, I would assume that a MAJOR seal had broken, they are rather maitenence free and shouldn't have any problems that aren't easily identified. Good luck!! By the way, is it a gas or a diesel if it is a 856. Now that I think about it, it might be a Case IH which I don't know too much about.
