The T/A is a vauluable tool that allows you to plow a gear higher than normal and if you hit a heavy patch of ground or have to go up a hill you can pull it back. I plow with my 400D pulling 3-16's through heavy clay in second gear when wet asd 3rd when drier. As for pulling I pull it in the 8500# class. I am usually in the top 4 or 5 or better. Do not use loaded tires and do not put more than a hundred pounds on the front. I use all suitcase weights to make weight. In the 7500# class I pull just for fun in second gear. If you have any questions post them and I will try to answer them. Farmall43
