Jeff - This diagram should do it with 1 minor change: Skip the wiring running from the fuse holder to the ign switch, coil, etc. It's not needed with a magneto. If you elect to make your tractor negative ground (recommended so you won't get a surprise if you ever try to jump it from 12 volt car), swap the connections at both the battery and the ammeter, then repolarize the generator.
