I enjoy a day of venture, browsing through buildings that have been forgotten about for years and just seeing what people rat holed. I haven't gotten a chance to do this since my Grandmother passed on and we started going through her house. My Grandmother didn't rat hole anything that was worth much but it sure was fun. Farm buildings are alot more fun especially if you don't know the person becuase its no telling what you might find. It is a real rare occasion though to have somebody say they are selling the farm and that its O.K. for you to browse around before the sell just to see if something may have been overlooked and left as junk. I have only had a hand full of these type situations but boy it was fun. Farm auctions can be just as much fun though just to see what people accumulated. I have had a lot more fun days at auctions browsing just becuase auctions are alot more likely to happen than someone not having an auction and letting you browse around. Not something I would try to do without permission. LOL That might be grounds for getting shot. LOL
