Well it certainly sounds like a fuel problem. My "H" ran just the same. It always ran great if it didn't have a load on it. After a few minutes of open throttle it would stutter and die unless I pulled the choke. Then it would sputter along. When I pulled the fuel line it had good flow. For a short time! I tried draining the fuel tank by draining through the fuel line into a can. It ran a full stream for about 30 seconds then slowed to a dribble. I discovered that while sitting the screen in the sediment bowl would "clean itself" and a fine sediment would drift to the bottom of the bowl. As fuel past through the bowl this sediment would stir up and plug the screen. I bought a new bowl assembly (the old valve was bent anyway) and it runs beautiful now.
