Just tapping into the plugs in the manifold at the touch control unit won't work. The pump only generates pressure when the rockshaft controls are operated. The rest of the time, it is just bypassing back to the reservoir. That is why IH used a different manifold when a remote valve was supplied. The remote was mounted on the manifold and the fluid from the pump went through the remote valve on the way to the touch control unit. It might work to do what you suggest as far as using the transmission for an additional reservoir. You would have to take suction from the transmission case directly to the pump, then run from the pump to your remote and then back to the touch control from the remote valve. Then you would pipe from an overflow (the fill plug opening) on the touch control unit back to the transmission. You would need a filter on the suction line, or you are going to plug things up in short order from the crud in the transmission. The touch control has too many small passages and fine clearances to allow any crud in it. You'll have to have the transmission really clean before this has a chance to work. I think a lot more trouble and expense than it is worth.
