cub float adjustment

Unskilled mechanic and need some help; Cub carburetor leaks gas when engine stopped. From other posts and archives understand this to be float adjustment problem. Not skilled enough to understand where to take float height and float drop adjustments from. Have the specs from the IT shop manual but blast if I can tell where to measure from! Help! Kajun
