Dad's got the exact same set-up on His '51 M. You need a double acting cylinder to run the disc. This setup gives You live 2-way hyd. The little Gresen spool valve changes the 2-way to 1-way hyd. I would think there is also a add-on hyd. control valve the hyd. control lever goes to. The belly pump is just used to store oil now, no pump or control valve inside it any more. Hook the cyl. hoses up to the quick connects and switch the position of the Gresen valve and You should be in business. Also check the oil level in the res.
