Missing pieces?

Hi, me again. I was just looking on our 1949 Farmall Super A, and I think there is a missing piece. Behind the gearshift cover, but in front of the PTO lever, there are two threaded holes side by side. There are no bolts in them, and I can see fluid of some type, possibly gearshift lubrication? Can anyone tell me what goes here, or provide a picture. Also, my father and I found the orginal cultivators that came with the tractor in 1949. These are ORIGINAL. But, we arent sure how they attach. Can anyone provide some pictures? Thanks,
