Yes, we did get a 12 volt regulator. They had us bring in the old VR so the new one would be the same. It only has 3 terminals. There is no light switch terminal. The old one didn't have an L terminal either, but the lights did work okay. Is that why I'm confused by all the wires you mention? We only have 4 wires to hook up - 2 from the amp meter, one for field and one for the generator.
