Once you split the tractor, the front transmission seal is on the outside of the transmission in a bolt-on diecast housing. Changing it will be easy as long as the housing is OK. On mine, the bearing was spinning in the housing so I drilled & tapped three holes for set screws to hold the seal in place....not very hard to do. Good Luck! RED
