Bad Investment? I just had to have a Super C about 4 years ago. Bought the first one I saw advertised. Paid $1900 for it along with a worn out 2 bottom plow and a broken FH blade. Got the piece of junk home and tore in to it. $4000 later I had me a nice little Super C. So nice I don't even use it. Sits under a blanket in the shop. As soon as I finish this project a perfect Super C was advertise with a full line of good equipment in the paper for $1100!!!!!! All this tractor needed was paint so we bought it. My next smart move was to buy a 504 diesel I saw in the paper with 1600 actual hours! Only asking $6500. Ilooked at the tractor and bought it, feeling good that I got the guy down to $6000. It had a nice loader with it, a 3 bottom plow and a nice #200 FH blade. Got the thing home and within 6 months the fast hitch quit working right and within a year the engine shot craps. This is STRESS RELIEF for me. I have to keep telling myself that. Nothing makes me unwind like watching those thousand dollar bills sail out the window!!!!!!!!

Today's Featured Article - The Cletrac General GG and the BF Avery A - A Bit of History - by Mike Ballash. This article is a summary of what I have gathered up from various sources on the Gletrac General GG and the B. F. Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac. ... [Read Article]
