I'm beginning to wonder if buying these old tractors is a wise investment. I have purchased 4 in the past few years and they looked and ran good when I bought them but only one out of the 4 was worth a damn.I bought a Farmall M, 2 Farmall c's and a 350 diesel which was a complete dog.I made the 2 c's into good tractors for about $400.The m runs pretty good but seems to be worn out and have spent about$400 on it.The 350 diesel was a total dog, everything on the tractor was bad and I spent $3000 on it and it is still a dog, have a total of $6000 in it and would be lucky to sell it for $3000.I think a person is pretty lucky to get an old tractor without spending a lot of money on them. What do you think .
