How bad do you want a Super M? I personally would have to replace the rear housing. Finding one should be pretty easy, replacing it will be a little more work. I bought a International 600D a couple of years back. Once I got it all steam cleaned I found 2 cracks in the rear end housing. I ended up replacing the housing and all the bearings in the housing also. You see about the only thing that will cause a crack in the rear end housing is a bearing that has let go and parts of that bearing getting between the bull gear and the housing. Once a bearing goes to pieces you can pretty well figure that there was a lot of metal pieces going through everything. If I were you I would keep looking for another Super M. It is also very important when purchasing a tractor that is 50 years old to always pull the trans cover off and inspect all the gear.
