The clips on top are for the crank. The clips below the platform are for the battery cable (and the rear light wire if there is one). The area on the bell housing, directly below the gas tank, is where the hydraulic system goes. Hydraulics were not available in'47 but the tractors were set up so it could be retrofit when it bacame available.
