My A has a hydralic pump run from the belt pulley. It is only about 5 gpm but works good to lift the mower and whatever else we want to do with it. A way of making live power would be to run off the crankshaft somehow, either a belt or mount the pump to the front with a shaft going to the crank.

Electric hydralic pump would work too.
