I just totally rewired my 806. I am an electrical engineer and may have an advantage but I just start wiring, put it all back together then crank it up and know it will all work when I am done. It usually does. When you are working on a 40 year old tractor there is no telling what someone has done, changed, rigged or broken in the past. That is why I don't go by the manuals schematics. I use my tractors for work, no shows. I guess if you are trying to restore one to original, the manual is essential. I use the manuals to keep the mechanical works in order. As long as I have lights, a key switch for ignition to keep the kids off and guages I am happy. Let the black smoke roll!
