Lowering an A or Super A

Ever since seeing a Cub lo-boy I've thought about getting an A or Super A and letting it down to use with a Woods mower. The lower profile would make getting under trees much eaiser, especially if one runs the exhaust underneath. After seeing Hass's shop mule picture I think rotaing the rear drop housings would work for the rear but does anyone know if new bolt holes would be needed in the transmission to bolt up the housings? I think a machine shop could cut down the front spindles and tubes but not sure if the tie rod ends would clear the front tires then. The other obsticle would be mounting the mower brackets since the pads on the drop housing would change position and the rear draw bar would need some adjustments. I think the A would be a better choce since hydraulics aren't really needed with the mower. What do yall think, is this a crazy or bad idea? Any ideas on if it would work? Why or why not? And if you ask "why not just get a cub lo-boy?" The seem to be hard to come by and even alot of regular cubs are priced higher than an A or Super A, I saw one bring $3550 at an auction this spring. Plus the A will eaisly pull a 5' deck and it would be a good project. Thanks
