Well, just got back from another fruitless search.. As you mentioned, the steering is a BIG problem on this tractor... LOTS of play in the box, tie rods, and the steering arms rotated a LOT on the spindle before it turned.. I think maybe the front end has a hard time of it, what with being set back and all. With worn out tires, a rusted out rim, no battery and no use for 3 years, I didnt want to get involved with this "5800" hour tractor. Thanks guys! Without this board i wouldnt have known to check the steering first!
