Being the last of the Cub line,the 184 is "muscle car" of the Cub's(18.5 H.P.).
Mine never boils over(pressurized system),but pegs the needle at 230 durring summer mowing.
This tractor is totally restored with new hoses,radiator,etc.
Had the Cub line continued I'am sure a pump would have been added, it just makes good engineering sense,I.E.the 184 used a alternator in place of the earler generator,sure the gen. worked but the alt. is just better.......Mike
