I went through the diferential and tranny on mine and would advise pulling the deck also. That way you can have a good look-see in there. If one bearing went south you might have others in need of attention. I ended up changing 10 bearings in mine, but the whole thing was worn out when I got the tractor and I wasn't too surprised.
