Letting a tractor take water through the stack is just plain insane. If the head warps, cracks or whatever in the engine to cause water in the oil, that is understandable. Letting one take water through the exhaust is preventable. If it takes a day to clean those threads and fit it with proper pipe and rain cap, it is time and money well spent. I use a raincap AND always through a metal paint can or 5 gal bucket over the stack.
