Farmall Super A - Air Cleaner

Was wondering whether anyone has taken an air
cleaner apart for this machine? The guy that I
bought this tractor from must have gotten mad at it at sometime or another and beat the outside
cannister with a hammer. Any way Im trying to
fix the dents so decided to pull insides out. Drilled the spot welds out with 3/16 drill and
pulled out the wire mesh rings, bottom rings
are a coarser mesh wire than top rings. Has
anyone done this and replaced with a suitable
paper filter??
