There was an old fella back where we lived in Minnesota that had a loader on his H. He never used the hitch, so he chained a 55 gal drum on his hitch, then filled it with rocks and gravel. He never had a problem with traction. Place some drain holes in it, so the water in it don't freeze and expand the steel, breaking the barrel.
