I don't think that it is fuel related , it sounds to me that it is a problem either with the coil or the cond. Had a similar problem with my S/H and it drove me nuts till one day it quite and i just happened to touch the coil and burnt the (H) out of my hand changed the coil and it will run all day and nite now.
