painted like original, or do you want it to look good for a long time? At the factory the manifold and carb were painted on the tractor when the rest
of the tractor was painted. The Mag was natural
aluminum with the magnet painted black. I personally leave carbs unpainted and paint manifolds with a natural cast gray colored manifold paint. I usually clearcoat the mag. If
you paint it the way the factory did, the paint will burn off the exhaust manifold and the gas seepage will turn your nice gray carb an ugly brown.
The factory even painted the rubber hoses and belts on the tractor.
