Neal: Thanks very much for your thoughts. I didn't follow the part about the lock nut -- maybe we are talking about different parts. On mine, the two halves of the "ball clamp" are still bolted together with two big bolts -- but the top half of the clamp is supposed to have three 1/2" bolts holding it to the belly of the tractor. Those are the three missing bolts. Its the hole in that main casting of the tractor that I think may be stripped. Thanks again.
