Bob, you should jack the tractor some place behind that connector. In other words get all the weight off the front. Use jack stands so it is safe to work under and with a stiff pointed pry bar pull the front into line so you can get a bolt started in the upper half of the clamp to hold in position. That is put the bar through the clamp and angle to the hole in casting and reef it in place. No big deal done it many times. What you may have to do if threads are gone in casting is put a bolt in there and use a thin lock nut to hold it as you will have trouble drilling that upper clamp as it is hardened and I mean hard. Then get a new cap and your home. Good luck. Let me know how it works. Happy Holidays.
