12 volt Autolite Generator Help

I have an Autolite Generator, part # 45-721 . It is a 12 volt , 35 amp. It has two poles, one marked F, and one marked A, and a screw marked G. Is the G a ground for the voltage regulator? Does any one have any tips for hooking up this generator and regulator up to my W-9 . The wireing was a mess on this tractor and i am trying to get the systen charging again. Thanks
