I remember one time my Mercury Flatbed kept overheating. I just couldn't seem to fix it so I had to take it to a repair shop, a thing that I am quite loathe to do. When it came back the radiator and cooling system were filled with some sort of disgusting greenish fluid! I drained it right away and go rid of it! I've been running rusty water in it ever since. It's been some years now but it has started overheating again. One things for sure, I'm not going to take it back to that mechanic! He must have screwed something up.
