J.D's right. You can clean it up using a 3M grease and paint removal wheel. It's fairly aggressive, so it'll remove all that nasty rust you'll find inside. I used the same thing to clean up the other plates and brake discs. Parts are pretty expensive from Case/IH. Someone in Red Power was advertising for replacement for a lot less, that is if you need replacement of parts.
