I had the same problem with my farmall 400 when I had my bales to tight using a New Holland 69 or my 273. I never did figure out where it was coming from but it sounded like it was right under my feet. After I lightened up a bit it quit. Maybe we where just working them to hard. If you find out what your problem is please let me know. Sorry I couldn't help any more than that. How much of a problem was it for you to put in the new TA and what did it cost? I need one too. I don't really work her that hard so I haven't really need it, so I put it off figuring it will do no harm.
