Have heard clunk you describe in a 300 with NH
Super 69 baler. One day my father heard this
clunk, got me to walk beside baler as he
continued. As I walked and the bales came out
there were two bales with a 3" piece of driftwood
in them. It sounded as though it was under tractor
seat. Noise can travel a long way on a power
shaft. I have also heard decieving noises on a
truck drive shaft, not always where it
sounds
