I have the same problem with my 1951 H. I have rebuilt the carb and changed all the jets, adjusted screws, and used propane around the manifold to check for leks to no avail. I would be interested to know if and how you resolve this. It just doesn't seem like there could be much of anything else to check. Is the gap on the points a possibility or timing?
