Yep, You forgot the bull gear. You can sneak up through the PTO hole and take it loose. When I did this to my 400 last summer, I shimmed the bull gear in place with wooden shims and used a block of wood between the retaining bolts on the bull gear to push the axle out of the bull gear using the retaining bolt and not let that heavy gear drop. There is also a retainer on the inter bearing on the axle. You may want to check that inter bearing because that housing leaking is the first sigh that bearing may be going bad. John In Iowa
