First, thanks for having such a helpful/active forum, not sure what some of us would do without you… I have a 1953 Cub, all original, not restored but in pretty much perfect running condition. Last night I was plowing the first snow of the winter, I had the lights on "Dim", when suddenly the lights turned bright and stayed that way. I thought the light switch knob might have vibrated to "bright", so I flipped the switch back and forth, from Dim/Bright/Dim/Off and back again, and then lights seemed to calm down, and were once again dim when set on the "dim" setting. Then, about five or ten minutes later, they became bright again for only about two seconds, then, for a split second there was an even brighter blue/intense light before they immediately went dark. Now, I can't get them to turn back on. … It was moist night, a few snow flakes were in the air and it's possible something got wet, a few of the original wires are a little frayed, but the tractor continued to run perfectly, I just couldn't see anything and ended up digging up a little grass. This was the first time, in a long time, that I used the lights for more than just a quick on/off testing. Where should I start? Thanks!
