Frank'I had the same problem with my C.I replaced all the wires and the switch,got myself a new battery,heck,I even had the starter checked.(It was good)Nothing helped!Changed her over to 12 volt,worked like a dream!If you want to leave it 6 volt,go through your electrical system.Clean and check EVERYTHING then do it again to be sure.Sooner or later you'll find the problem.
